After meeting this happy go lucky Boxer dog I just had to paint her. I captured her just as she was contemplating the bubbles we were blowing. I can tell you, a second later she was off and bursting each and every one. Sadie is painted on 140 pound paper with fine quality watercolors
About Diane DeSavoy
One Christmas, when I was a young child, I was given a paint by numbers kit. I promptly discarded the instructions and painted my first oil of a horse on a windswept hill. My love of art was born. Decades later, I was introduced to the magic of watercolor. I love their transparency and how the amount of water can transform the pigment from subtle to bold and as you can see, I do love my bold colors. Finally, I will usually add a touch of whimsy.
